Five decades later, Mushroom is now spearheaded by Michael’s son Matt and incorporates international and domestic touring, booking agencies, artist and talent management, record labels, music publishing, merchandising, event curation and production, creative and marketing services, venues, film production and distribution and more – there is almost no end to what the Mushroom Group is involved in and can offer.

Matt Gudinski —
Born into the music industry as the son of Mushroom founder Michael Gudinski, Matt Gudinski now continues the family legacy as the CEO of the Mushroom Group, overseeing over 250 staff and two dozen companies.
Michael Gudinski AM —
Music was in Michael Gudinski’s blood. Born 22 August 1952 to Russian immigrant parents, Gudinski is widely recognised as the most powerful and influential figure in the history of the Australian music industry.
